  • 1989

    Foundation of the company under the trade name “Macedonian Terracota”. The company’s first privately owned manufacturing installations lay on a 6212,4 m2 ground and a 2160 m2  plant with a production capacity of 4t daily.

  • 1991

    First line of yellow fire bricks in two initial forms, the briquette and the plaque.

  • 1992

    Amplification of the production capacity by 6t addition tones daily.

  • 1993

    1993: Procurement of the company’s first quarries.

  • 1994

    1994: Procurement of the company’s second quarries.

  • 1994

    1994: New amplification of the production capacity which reached 100t daily.

  • 1994

    1994: Acquisition of two adjacent plats and extension of the company’s privately owned yard by 6000 m2.

  • 1995

    1995: Extension of the plant by 4000 m2.

  • 1996

    1996: Purchase of new manufacturing installations on a 16000 m2 ground and a 3500 m2 plant

  • 1997

    1997: Establishment of VI.OR Industrial Minerals Ltd., a subsidiary company destined for the elaboration of Roka Refractory’s raw materials and the trade of the abstracted components such as quartz.

  • 1998

    1998: Buy out of Flouda Ltd., Greece’s leading manufacturer of decorative tiles and concrete bricks.  Flouda’s manufacturing capacity reached 3500 m2/day.

  • 1999

    1999: Acquisition of one more 5000 m2 vicinal plat.

  • 2000

    2000: The company reaches 1000 clients all over Europe.

  • 2001

    2001: Last acquisition of a vicinal plat which extended the company’s yard by 5000 m2 and on which new warehouses were constructed.

  • 2004

    2004: Two more quarries were added to the company’s propriety.

  • 2006

    2006: Establishment of a commercial branch on a 2500m2 area and a 1800m2 building in Aspropyrgos, Athens.

  • 2007

    2007: Procurement of new 3000m2 quarries. Its raw materials have been indispensable for the production of our brown series of fire bricks.

  • 2009

    2009: Firtst line of Chocolate and Granite fire bricks.

  • 2009

    2009: The company reaches 2000 clients all over Europe.

  • 2010

    2010: First line of White fire bricks

  • 2010

    2010: Amalgamation of VI.OR Industrial Minerals and of Flouda Ltd. All the company’s product would be commercialized under the Roka Refractories label.

    2011: First line of Black and Grey fire bricks.
